deffinition of smells

I have been walking for past few days and I have been followed buy a sweet flowery smell . I figured it was dryer sheats or fabrick softener from houses but the same smell was also in middle of park , problem is the friest time i detected the smell the grass was just cut and the cloriphil smell was presant and there is no flowers in the park at all. yet when i asked the 'if your an sperit can you make the sweet smell stronger and it did .
